Work History

Southwest Airlines - Software Engineer

June 2014 -- Current

Performed a crucial role on the planning, designing and implementing a new IVR System using Aspect's CXP and Prophecy Platform. This new IVR platform saved Southwest millions in maintenance feels for old software but remedied PCI compliance issues and provided gateways to new technologies and self service functionality.
Supported and implemented new features to the call center payroll system, ensuring the payroll teams could meet their strict deadlines.
Helped teach and implement new build and configuration tools such as Git, Jenkins, Sonar and Gradle.

Southwest Airlines - Software Engineer (Contractor)

April 2013 -- June 2014

Converted applications to work the with new international reservation system.
Implemented Java/JSP web applications deployed to Tomcat and Web Sphere servers.
Fulfilled crucial role of the Telephony Re-Platform team. Quickly adapted to 2 new languages (VB6 and PL/SQL) while conforming to a rigorous project schedule and meeting deadlines. Served as build manager for both database and application tiers. Was instrumental in the Citrix and Com+ deployments. Collaborated with business partners, vendors and other development teams from design through deployment.

Southwest Airlines - Software Engineer (Intern)

January 2013 -- April 2013

Designed and developed applications crucial to operations at the airport terminals. Utilized Java with Spring framework for the backend, and designed the UI with HTML, jQuery and  JavaScript while ensuring all functions were cross-browser compatible.
